PortLog is a compact, sturdy, and durable industrial grade weather data recording professional weather station designed and produced by RainWise in the United States. The weather sensor components are fully assembled and can be quickly deployed for installation. The 3-watt solar panel and 4AH sealed lead-acid battery ensure stable operation of the weather station in the harshest environments.

PortLog comes standard with non-volatile memory, which can store up to 9 months of data at a storage frequency of 1 hour per data. Users can choose the storage frequency, ranging from 1 minute to 1 hour. Memory can be upgraded according to customer needs. After the data storage is full, it can be set to overwrite storage or stop storage. In addition to real-time wind speed and direction, PortLog also records maximum wind speed, minimum wind speed, average wind speed, and average wind direction. The data output is in CSV format and can be opened in Notepad or Excel.

PortLog uses a patented wind direction sensor that provides a resolution of 1 ° and has no dead zones. The wind speed adopts a propeller impeller, which has a longer service life and good accuracy at low wind speeds.

The atmospheric pressure sensor can measure absolute pressure and self calibrate according to altitude, which is done through the free WLcom software. Users can use laptops PDA、 Wireless data transmission terminals, adjustment and demodulation devices, etc. are connected to PortLog to obtain meteorological data. All sensors are traceable to NIST and also provide calibration services. PortLog can be optionally equipped with a sturdy and durable portable case that can hold PortLog, tripod, and installation accessories, including installation hammer, battery charger, and handheld compass. The tripod can be quickly assembled and includes an anchor. A person can assemble a weather station in just a few minutes.
